About Popoola Foundation

The Popoola Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to empowering and uplifting the less privileged in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, by providing vital educational support. Founded in loving memory of Late Chief Joseph Olanipekun Popoola and Late Chief Mrs. Veronica Modupe Popoola, the foundation seeks to continue their legacy of selflessness, compassion, and dedication to the community.

Our mission is to assist students who may face barriers to accessing quality education by offering financial assistance through annual scholarships. We are deeply committed to fostering academic excellence, nurturing leadership potential, and ensuring that deserving individuals, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations.

The Popoola Foundation serves as a beacon of hope for the less privileged, making education an attainable goal for all. Through these scholarships, we honor the memories of our beloved dad and mom while helping to shape a brighter, more promising future for the next generation.

Scholarship Opportunities

Aquinas College, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

Catholic churches across Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

Scholarships will be awarded to a total of six (6) students from Junior Secondary School 1 (JS1), Junior Secondary School 2 (JS2), Junior Secondary School 3 (JS3), Senior Secondary School 1 (SS1), Senior Secondary School 2 (SS2), and Senior Secondary School 3 (SS3) at Aquinas College, Akure, Ondo State.

Application deadline: March 31st, 2025.

Scholarship winners will be announced in April 2025.

Catholic churches across Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

Scholarships will be awarded to ten (10) church choir members and ten (10) altar servers from Catholic churches across Akure, Ondo State.
